The April 20 Dwell Daily took me to Psalm 118:
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.”
I keep coming back to that line. Easter reminds me that what feels broken or tossed aside might become the start of something new.
“This is the day the Lord has made.” I’m wondering where I’m being asked to rejoice—maybe even in the waiting.

Your words "what broken and tossed aside might become the start of something new" are resonating with me. Recently, I had a relationship change that caused me much anxiety. The falling out I had with this person has become a cornerstone to my new way of drawing boundaries and communicating with others. Mostly, it's awakened me to want to advocate for my true feelings, and sort of let the chips fall from there. I didn't know this kind of dynamic would actually bless others as well and strengthen my relationships. It's a mindblowing cornerstone for a new way of living and loving.
