“My library was expanding faster than my character was transforming.”
I’m humbled by these words! They ring so true - in my pursuit of transformation I’m so quick to think that metabolizing information is the path to get there. Lead on!
Hi Nate ... Thanks for taking the time to read and share your thoughts. I do love reading! :) It’s true that information is a great start, but oh, how far I have to go when it comes to letting that knowledge truly transform me.
Thank you Jonathan for your vulnerability. The content here is wonderful, but I also want to say the writing itself is exceptional. You’re truly a gifted writer! Excited to read the book when it comes out. Thank you for edifying the Body of Christ!
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement Holden. I’m really grateful that the content resonates with you, and I appreciate your compliments on the writing itself. It’s been a labor of love, and I’m excited to share the book with you and others.
Thanks, Jonathan - I’ve found the same to be true. First, the ego must be exposed and seen in the light of truth. Once we can see our False Self, we are ready to find our True Self. ♥️
So glad to hear from your progress on the book. May I never age out of the humbling truth that transformation is a sloooooooow process. And vulnerability in the midst of it is our friend. God is so kind to those who seek Him.
Beverly ... it’s always great to hear from you ... I appreciate your encouragement. You’re right; transformation is indeed a slow process, and embracing vulnerability along the way truly helps us grow. Thank you for continuing to read. Peace to you.
Grateful for your vulnerability! I especially identify with coffee, books and fast food being the fuel to help you rally the enthusiasm to continue on. ☺️ So much of our growth happens in the midst of life’s ordinary moments, I’m learning. Thank you for sharing it all - the real and raw along with the sacred and holy. 🙌🏼
Lelia ... thanks for your kind words! You’re right about growth happening in those ordinary moments; it’s in the quotidian that we often encounter the best lessons. Grateful for your support!
Hi Eugene ... I appreciate your encouragement ... thanks for reading and sharing. I do want to write as honest as I can ... we’re all in this together, learning and growing a step at a time. Peace to you.
Oh my goodness! Thank you, Jonathan, for your honesty! Yes, you have described this amazing walk of seeking Jesus so clearly! I’m so grateful for your words this morning!
Hi Jeanie ... thank you so much for your warm response! Your gratitude brightens my afternoon, and I’m thankful to have you as a reader. On the journey with you.
