I love this. The past couple of days God has put 1 John 3:20 before me "for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and He knows everything." I also have come to believe that God is kinder with us than us than we are with ourselves. As Lynette said, He gently sets the bar higher, then helps us get there.
